John has over 19 years of practice at the Malaysian Bar. He has particular expertise in general litigation and advocacy services and appears as Counsel in cases involving civil and commercial disputes. He appears regularly in the High Court and the Appellate Courts.
He advises both local and foreign clients in areas including company and shareholder disputes, contract, defamation and employment law He also advises and represents directors of companies in respect of offences under the Security Commissions Act (‘White-collar crimes’) and regularly advises local and multinational companies in respect of offenses under the Environmental Quality Act.
